About
Welcome to Berry To Bean Coffee House, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas. Located at 3900 Broadway, this charming coffee house offers a respite from the bustling streets, inviting patrons to indulge in a delightful range of specialty drinks and teas.
As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I was eager to explore what makes Berry To Bean stand out among the myriad of coffee shops in the area. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by the warm aromas of freshly brewed coffee and spiced teas. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it the perfect spot for locals and visitors alike to unwind, connect, or simply enjoy a moment of solitude.
One of the highlights of the menu is their artistic Chai Latte, an aromatic blend that showcases the complexities of spiced tea harmoniously mixed with steamed milk, all topped with delicate foam art. For those seeking something vibrant, the Heart Beet Latte delivers with its eye-catching beet juice and a hint of cinnamon, all beautifully combined with your choice of milk. At $5.50, it’s not just a drink; it’s a visual and flavor experience.
If you're a green tea enthusiast, the Matcha Green Tea Latte is a must-try. Priced at $4.75, this drink offers a rich, umami flavor that's both nourishing and invigorating. And for a unique twist, their Turmeric Latte, infused with ginger, black pepper, and agave, is not only a delight to the senses but also a health-conscious choice at $5.50.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Choccy Milk is a fun addition, combining chocolate sauce and vanilla with your milk of choice for just $3.00. Whether you’re taking a break from a busy day or treating yourself, each sip is a reminder of simple joys.
Berry To Bean Coffee House also caters to tea lovers with their selection of teas served in a delightful presentation. For only $2.75, you can enjoy a soothing cup of hot tea accompanied by a refreshing iced tea on the side - the perfect complement to any drink.
To quench your thirst further, check out their mini fridge items featuring Fiji Water at $3.00, Waterloo Sparkling Water for $2.00, or the locally-sourced Topo Chico for a refreshing experience at $3.00. Each of these options reflects the quality and care that Berry To Bean exudes throughout their offerings.
In conclusion, Berry To Bean Coffee House is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a culinary experience that continues to elevate the standard of coffee houses in San Antonio. With its creative beverages and inviting ambiance, it has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a caffeine fix and a moment of respite.
“ The best coffee shop in town. Their smoothies are delicious, the staff is very friendly. Must visit! Powerhouse and Green Oasis are the best smoothies to try. ”
“ Since finding this place I admit that I have spent an exorbitant amount of money here. The baristas are all kind and knowledgeable. The espresso is great, the cold brew is smooth and flavorful, the vegan pastries are to die for. My favorite drink so far is the vanilla earl brew.. Today I tried a juice and was not disappointed. It was so refreshing! The store itself is clean, cute and well-kept. Limited seating, so on weekends you might not be able to find a place to sit. I think if they had anything savory I might never leave this place. All in all, an awesome little shop with delicious coffee, and outstanding baristas. Definitely worth a visit! ”
“ First visit. Came for the vegan bakery. Was not disappointed. Had chai plus lavender tea. And croissants and a pop tart looking thing to go! Everything was delicious. 3 students on laptops. Delightful staff. Thank you! ”
“ I love this place! Definitely NOT Starbucks, which I like. If you want “fast food” coffee service, this place is not for you. Each drink is personally made for you by people that want to give you the best experience possible. The staff is super friendly and gets to know their regulars. Smoothies and juices are custom made to order. They may take a minute to come out but when they do you know it was made with love and just for you. I have personally seen how hard these baristas work to get through all their orders while giving each person the attention they deserve. Obviously I am a regular and have seen the “fast food” coffee customers come through with bad attitudes and very little patience expecting there items to be ready the moment they pay. If you want a silky smooth latte, a freshly made smoothie or juice, or one of their creative seasonal drinks in a calming relaxing atmosphere, then Berry to Bean is for you. Locally owned and operated and all their pastries are 100% vegan (love!). I highly recommend this place. Enjoy friends!! ”
“ Croissant was very good and fluffy. I had a Banana shake and it was very good and not over sugared. Fast internet and I would defiantly come back and sport this small business. ”
“ The drinks are so great! The pastries are purely delectable. The prices are on point for being a hip little coffee shop. About 7 per person ”
“ I've gone with friends to this coffeeshop a few times and loved it each time. I particularly love the fact that all their pastries and muffins and the like are vegan! The poptarts are extremely good! I love the rainbow sprinkled blueberry lemon one! They have lots of nondairy milks for their coffees and can alter drinks as needed for you so it's a perfect coffee place for vegans. ”
“ I came here after driving past many times. Easy to say it’s my new favorite coffee shop! First, the barista was so kind, her name was Audrey. She knew so much background knowledge on the coffees, it was so interesting to hear about it all. I had the Thai iced coffee and the heartbeet latte (which has beets and was surprisingly the most refreshing/smooth/satisfying drink, I don’t even like beets!) They make coffee an art, with exact measurements, pours, and barista knowledge. They have so much stuff on their menu I’m excited to try next. Can’t wait to come back! She also said there was trivia (I think Thursdays) and they do fun themes! ”
